The purpose of a thermostat is to let the car get up to operating temperature and then open up to not let it get any hotter. It is the optimal temperature for the car. If you run without a thermostat it would not let the car get up to operating temperature for a long while.

So we know the 2012+ JKs certainly CAN run cooler if they need to. Yet they were designed to run at the temps they run. Must have been a reason. I was just reading in a car magazine that some new car, forget which one, actually has a split cooling system. The heads run at 195 degrees and the block runs at 220 degrees.

With that said the JKs do run a but hot (210-226) in my case depending on ambient and load. @Youssefsaafan One other thing you may want to consider is if you are running the most up to date software.
